Most commercial schools are interested tournments,I am interested in self-defence.There aren't any wing chun schools (that I know of) in my area.I have taken tae kwoon do,tang soo do,and akidio.I still haven't found an art that I really feel is effective.I would like to try wing chun.I haven't been caught up in the grappling mania,I think it would be good to have skills in that area,but I don't think it is the complete soultion.Well,I hope you can contact me with some school or instructor info. I just came back from Victoria the other day. I am so impressed with Canada and the people that I am deeply considering moving up there in the near future (there is a woman involved ;) ). I was just speaking with Sifu Al Dacascos this evening about if there were any good schools up there. My background is in Jeet Kune Do "Concepts", Muay Thai Kickboxing, Filipino MA, and most recently Kajukenbo. Do you have any schools in Victoria? Or would you recomend any? |
