What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format designed for sharing news, headlines and other content from Web sources. RSS distributes news feeds that include information such as titles, dates, links and summaries. The format allows for quick and easy syndication of news by providing short descriptions of web content.

In order to display this RSS feed you will need to download a news reader (also known as a news aggregator). News readers can be either stand-alone applications or plug-ins that run along side applications already on your desktop, such as Microsoft Outlook or a web browser. Some Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed readers can also subscribe to Accenture podcasts. You control the feeds you want and can easily unsubscribe at any time.

If you do not have RSS readers, you can pick a reader, download and install it by following these instructions:

  1. Download NewsGator (runs in Microsoft Outlook), CITA RSS Aggregator, or Doppler Podcast Aggregator for free.
  2. Follow the prompts to download the program.
  3. Return to the accenture.com page with the news feed you wish to receive, simply right click on the RSS link, click “Copy shortcut” and add the URL to your feed reader or aggregator.

My Yahoo, My AOL and other portal sites are another easy way to receive RSS feeds. After you create a My Yahoo account, any time you see the +My Yahoo button, you can click on it and it will automatically add it to your My Yahoo service.
